Hi, I’m Lucy!
I was born and raised in Virginia and have lived here my whole life. I’m currently based in Harrisonburg, VA, where I am a student at James Madison University. There, I am pursuing a B.A. in Musical Theatre.
I involuntarily grew up around the theatre due to my older brother, Nathan. Before I was even able to walk, I was sitting in his rehearsals while my Mom worked on costumes and my Dad worked on sets. “Sitting” is a lie, though. I couldn’t sit still in those rehearsals, as I got older I was constantly running around just dying to be on stage and wanting to be just like my brother and his friends. When I was finally old enough, I started performing in musicals and never looked back…sort of.
I started choir in school, and for awhile I wanted to be a music teacher. Luckily, I had some amazing teachers along the way who always encouraged me to do it all. So as a multi-faceted artist, I enjoy working on projects involving music direction, and visual arts of different mediums including graphic design, photography, and video creation.
I live for these things and I am so lucky to call the things I love my work. But when I’m not doing the cool things I consider work, I am having themed parties with my friends, singing in my a cappella group, enjoying live music, playing video games, watching SNL, drinking so much coffee, laughing, or shopping.
Scroll to grow up doing theatre with me!
